Coma de Vaca-Ulldeter

Height difference: +500m, -300m

Route indicated with GR-11.7 markings. From the Coma de Vaca refuge, walk up the valley of the Freser among meadows inhabited by marmots and chamois. On reaching the rain gauge, turn eastwards and walk up the slope as far as the Coll de la Marrana pass. This point provides a magnificent view of the headwaters of the river Ter, with the Canigó massif in the background to the east. Continue with a descent, following the GR-11 markings to the Ulldeter refuge.
