ULLDETER REFUGE- RAS DE CARANÇÀ REFUGE (Bacivers Valley)

Time required: 3 hours
Height difference: +400m, -800m.

From Ulldeter, walk direction to the Coll de la Marrana by GR-11.In the old refuge, turn right and walk to north until coll de la Geganta pass (between Bastiments and the Pic de la Dona). The view of the Bacivers tarns from the pass is reward for the effort. Leaving the tarns behind on the left, walk down the glacial valley of Bacivers, following the course of the river all the way until you come across the markings of the GR10. Turn left and follow the path’s red and white markings that lead shortly to the Ras de Carançà refuge.
