Great excursion highly recommend. The route is well defined and marked with red points. If you have a car, you should park it in at Daió de Baix Power Station. If you arrive by rack railway to Queralbs you should take the Ribes road from Queralbs and almost a kilometer later you will find a very sharp bend where on the left starts the deviation to Daió de Baix Power Station. You will walk up along the river Freser, you will find plenty of little falls. Vegetation changes while you go up. The landscape between the Northest slope of Balandrau and the Southeast of Mountain Torreneules is wonderful. Almost arriving to the refuge you will go down around 50 m until you can reach on the left a bridge to cross the Freser river easily.
