Time: 6 h. A round trip circuit that allow you to meet the start of Freser river, the bucolic lakes of Carançà, and the lonley valley of Coma de Vaca. Very recommended. You have to start from Coma de Vaca refuge and cross the bridge of Freser river, walk up along the river for 1 hour and 30 minutes, following the red and white marks of the GR-11.7 track. You will arrive to the start of Freser river, where you will find GR-11 path. Take it to the West and one hour later you will find Tirapits cabin (equipped with an emergency button connected with the fire station). The GR-11 goes up to the Tirapits pass and walking along the vertex you will arrive to the Carançà pass. Go down to
the South by the Coma de Vaca valley until you arrive to the refuge, where
you started the excursion. Careful during the first 15 minutes of walking
down from Carançà pass because there is a steep slope plenty
of rocks and stones (you will find a stone pointing where the descent
starts, way with red points)
