In summer this is the quickest way to arrive to the refuge. You should drive approximately 8 km along a track from Tregurà de Dalt to Pardines. You can park your car at 2000 m in a spot where a small path starts (you can guess where the path starts because there is a barrier). You will see a poster pointing to where the Coma de Vaca refuge is. Walk up to the Tres Pics pass, and then go down until arriving to the refuge by a not very well defined path. We do not recommend this excursion during windy days.
