The winter mean that a lot of water gets frozen giving us the possibility to practicing ice climbing. In general, there are falls of "one only long" with different degrees of difficulty. You can also realize different climbs to the top of the mountains following the pass (Balandrau, Infern, Pic de la Vaca,...). |

Snowshoes allow
you an easy and practical way to get about in winter conditions. The best
way to arrive to the refuge of Coma de Vaca during winter is from the Ull
de Ter refuge following the GR-11.7 path or from Nuria via the Torreneules
pass. We do not recommend the acces by the "gorgues del Freser"
or by the "Enginyers" path during winter. |
